CELCAT Site Licence day 2015

20/10/2015 10:45

CELCAT held its annual Site Licence days on 6th October and 8th October 2015.

English users converged on the Kingsway Hall Hotel in Covent Garden, London and Scottish users gathered at the G&V Royal Mile Hotel, Edinburgh.

The theme for the days was “CELCAT 7.7 - the Next Phase in Timetabler Evolution” and focused on some of the new developments among the 900 enhancements in Timetabler 7.7.

The day consisted of concise presentations in the morning and interactive breakout sessions in the afternoon, with a 3 course meal being served at lunchtime. Highlights of the morning session included:

  •          Significant announcements regarding future development of the software
  •          New CELCAT Automation Visual Template Editor (VTE)
  •          Enhancements to CELCAT Timetabler Live
  •          New CELCAT Pay Claim Manager (PCM) version 2

After receiving an overview of the new features and benefits these provide, the delegates were allowed the opportunity to examine this further in the interactive afternoon sessions.

With smaller groups examining Automation, Timetabler Live and PCM, each delegate had the opportunity to not only raise questions but get ‘hands on’ with these new features and applications.

Feedback from delegates included the following comments:

“I like the setup where you all take a subject each and talk about it, gives us a chance to get to know you as individuals. Nice, relaxed atmosphere, very informative & comprehensive.”

“Excellent presentations from all staff.”

“Liked the short presentations that provided good grounding in the new features.”

“Breakout sessions useful.”

If you want to see what the future of timetabling, attendance tracking, timetable publication and pay claim management look like, why not plan now to attend the next CELCAT Site Licence day in 2016?
