CELCAT organises user clubs every year to give CELCAT customers the opportunity to meet and discuss best practice.

During these events, we hold presentations on the latest developments of our software and organise workshops demonstrating new features and products. Users are invited to deliver short presentations on how their institutions have implemented our products.

It’s through regular interactions with customers during user clubs, courtesy visits and webinars that CELCAT can meet users’ needs and build strong relationships with the people for whom we develop our software.

Such occasions are therefore very important to CELCAT.

The latest user club held in French took place in Pavillon du Lac des Buttes Chaumont, in Paris, on 26th March 2019.

Around 20 customers from various institutions in France were in attendance. They came from various higher education institutions such as universities, business schools, engineering schools, art colleges, etc. A wide range of roles were represented – head of technical services, head of administration, project manager, head of IT, IT technician, software developer and training manager.

On this occasion, we enjoyed presentations from the following users:

  • Mr. Courcoux and Ms. Devaux (Université Versailles Saint Quentin), who described their different approaches of their day-to-day work whilst working on the same database.
  • Ms. Jupillat (Université de Reims), who shared her experience of using CELCAT Timetabler and her timetabling duties.
  • Mr. Boulet and Mr. Pouillet (Université de Picardie Jules Verne) who presented the implementation CELCAT Timetabler products in their IT system.

The presentations highlighted the challenges institutions must face and gave some suggestions on how to overcome them.

In addition, participants enjoyed an interactive presentation on Timetabler 10.

The feedback shows that all participants have found the user club useful and would like to see sessions delivered by customers again at the next event.

We would like to thank customers for the strong interest they show towards our software and their feedback, which is key in determining the way our software will evolve.
