CELCAT Scotland User Group Meeting 2019
Date: Tuesday 9th April 2019
Location: Lanarkshire Campus, University of the West of Scotland (UWS)
Stephenson Place Hamilton International Technology Park
CELCAT Coordinator: Ian Grimes
As spring starts to raise its head in 2019, we look forward once again to the CELCAT Scotland Region User Group. As always, we have interesting and honest input from our client base as well as practical CELCAT-driven items.
The University of the West of Scotland (UWS) have kindly offered to host this year’s event at their newly- opened ultra-modern Lanarkshire Campus which is state-of-the art in offering flexible and sustainable teaching space.
What can we look forward to this time?
- UWS will outline how they have implemented CELCAT Room Booker Live and the time-saving benefits this has accrued, allowing staff to focus on other matters such as improving the timetable
- Robert Gordon University (RGU) will bring you up-to-date with their journey so far on utilising CELCAT Timetabler to improve the student experience
- What is a “Timetabling Health-check” and how will it benefit your institution? All will be revealed at the User Group
- Do you see the “health-warning” when you click the CELCAT Timetabler Events Wizard and think, “I won’t go there”? Well, the Events Wizard can be a powerful and time-saving tool when properly used. Come and find out how you can get more from that functionality of Timetabler Client
The event is free of charge and begins at the very civilised time of 10:55 a.m. on the 9th April with coffee and networking from 10:30 a.m. This is an ideal opportunity for you to share experiences and ideas with other users and get the most out of your CELCAT software.
